SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus, has spread extensively across the globe. As transmission continues, ongoing mutations give rise to new variants. This kit is designed for auxiliary detection and differentiation of infections linked to the widespread circulation of Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron variants since December 2020.
Work Flow
Two nucleic acid extraction methods are recommended:
- Option 1: Use a nucleic acid extraction or purification kit based on the magnetic beads method.
- Option 2: Employ a recommended extraction reagent, such as a silica membrane-based viral RNA mini kit, or a viral RNA extraction kit (catalog number YDP315-R).
